Affichage Holding SA becomes the sole shareholder of Romania operations

Affichage Holding SA now holds 100% of the shares in its Romanian affiliates following an amicable settlement with the current minority shareholder involving purchase of the latter's shares.

A transactional settlement was reached with the local minority shareholder and also manager of the Romanian affiliates of Affichage Holding SA. In this context, Affichage Holding SA takes over the entire 30% share currently held by Ventris, the minority shareholder and consequently gains complete control over the Romanian affiliates.

Mr. Rene Rosenberg, who has been the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company during 2011 is now the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Affichage Romania and shall have as primary responsibilities the overseeing of the companies activities on Romanian out-of-home advertising market. Mr. Rosenberg comes from the German out-of-home advertising company Wall AG – JC Decaux. Mr. Rosenberg has held various management positions within Wall AG since 1999, the latest being Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Management Director of Wall Bulgaria. Mr. Rosenberg holds an Economic Degree and is fluent in English and German.

Alongside Mr. Rene Rosenberg, another German, Mr. Frank Mayr will be the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Affichage Romania. He is a well respected professional and has a broad experience in out-of-home advertising industry.

Starting with February 1st, Afffichage Romania will also have a new headquarter, based in Metav Business Park office building.
